Delete your Buyvix account
Buyvix by MWP Labs. You can delete your account and your data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Buyvix and tap your picture (top right) to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account, then Delete for good.
If you are the owner of the household (the person who created it with their email), the whole household is deleted: all lists and items, saved prices and receipts, favourites, every family member's account and phones, and your email address.
If you are a family member, only your own account is deleted: your phones, your notification settings, the prices you shared with people nearby, and receipts you sent to the Buyvix team. The family's shared lists stay for the others; your name on them becomes "Deleted member".
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, email hello@mwphosting.com from the email address you used to create the household (or tell us your household's owner email and your name in the app). We delete the data within 30 days and answer you when it is done. We may ask a question to make sure the request really comes from you.
What is kept
- Everything listed above is deleted from the Buyvix server right away, including product names your household added to the shared product list.
- Older safety copies of the database (backups) are kept privately by the Buyvix team only to recover from mistakes, and are not used for anything else.
